After moving their family from Israel to California in 2017 Alin and Roee started Afuga first as a mobile coffee bar and gift box service. Roee brings his 20 years experience in coffee while Alin brings an incredible eye for design and creativity. Combined their passion for cultivating a community that feels like home, along with their entrepreneurial and tenacious spirits have brought their vision for Afuga to a new level with their new brick and mortar on Navasota St. Their goal with Afuga (which means a small breather or break in Hebrew) is to provide the best coffee experience they can create starting with the organic oak wood roasted espresso beans and reaching to the local pastries sandwiches and products they carry in store all of which are mindfully curated..
