Ryan Lawless’ music is a blend of blues, soul and rock n’ roll. Born in Austin and raised in southwest Houston, Lawless’ music is inspired by the Music of the Gulf Coast Highway and has a blend of gritty guitar riffs, slide guitar and lyrics that describe his upbringing in southeast Texas.
Lawless’ influences draw from a blend of the Texas Troubador songwriters, the Texas Blues, the Zydeco and Cajun Music artists, to the Choral and Gospel music that was formed along the Gulf Coast highway, from Houston, Texas to Jacksonville, Florida.
