Jessica Healey is a singer, songwriter and jazz vocalist in Austin, Texas.
Jessica is a regular attendee of Simona's Singer-Songwriter Nights, and has been featured in the Austin Songwriting Collective Showcase, Convergent Arts Artist Showcase, The Hive Artist Showcase, and Afuga Coffee's Songwriter's Showcase. She has released two original singles with more on the way. You can find Jess playing live around town both solo and with trombonist Paul Deemer as one half of their acoustic duo which focuses in pop, folk, soul, Americana, jazz, top 40 hits, and originals.

Jess currently has the honor of performing with Austin’s finest musicians: Gerry Gibbs (Chick Corea, Ron Carter, Kenny Barron), Paul Deemer (Adrian Quesada Jaguar Sounds, Jon Batiste, Gary Clark Jr.), and Kevin Lovejoy (John Mayer, Spoon) at the top jazz venues in town--The Elephant Room and Monk's Jazz Club.

The Sahara Lounge is a spacious and inviting East side spot with a relaxed, eclectic atmosphere. We offer live music nightly, from Indie, to African, to Blues, and everything in between. Formerly the historic TC's Lounge, the building and decor haven’t changed much, and offer a rich and timeless feel: that of a Texas juke joint with a twist. This is the kind of place where you can while away the hours dancing to the music, sipping Lone Star over a game of pool, playing chess with a fine wine in hand, or writing poetry on the antique Underwood typewriter. We offer a full bar, seasonal drink specials, free parking, and The Sahara Smokehouse serves up delicious West African dishes and BBQ.
