The nucleus of the modern rock sextet Vallejo is the three brothers A.J. Vallejo (vocals, lead guitar), Alejandro Vallejo (drums), and Omar Vallejo (bass). Raised in El Campo, TX and Birmingham, AL, they formed the Vallejo Brothers in 1990, later adding guitarist Bruce Castleberry and changing the band name to Vallejo. Seattle-born, Austin-based singer/songwriter Ruthie Craft is a powerhouse vocalist with a story to tell. Capturing audiences with her honest, emotive lyrics and soul-bearing vocals, she aims to narrate the world as she sees it: colorful, heartbreaking, and paradoxically optimistic.

She draws from personal experiences and her love for soul, rock, and pop, making her sound as lively as it is honest and heart-wrenching. With five singles and multiple collaborative projects under her belt, Ruthie will be releasing her debut EP in spring 2024.
