The Mrs is a group of four women from Austin, TX, who came together to write music with a mission. An infectious blend of modern pop and retro rock with soulful harmonies, their songs pull from their daily lives, and put forth a unique, empowering message. That’s because The Mrs is all about inspiring women like them – busy wives, mothers, and workers – and encouraging them to believe that they are “Enough.” That type of woman, the one with a multi-faceted existence, and years of rich life experience, is a demographic often left out of music. But The Mrs believes it’s time to include them.
From living in the moment to following your dreams, the band’s songs are never just about the sound (although we think you’ll love it), it’s about expressing authenticity and changing perspectives in a positive way. And, they practice what they preach! They are active ambassadors on a crusade for kindness, putting their instruments down to spearhead The Kindness Campaign, a nonprofit aimed at school children. Launched just last year to help students develop empathy and emotional intelligence, the curriculum is now being integrated into schools across Texas.
