The Followthrough’s journey has been a long one. After releasing their debut album in 2012 with Crimson Sky Records, they got the opportunity to join a national tour and hit the road hard. After touring for most of 2012 and 2013, their drummer was injured in an accident, and their touring came to a screeching halt. Unable to find a replacement, TFT turned their attention to YouTube and began making acoustic covers of their favorite tunes. These songs would later be compiled and released as “Hiatus Sessions”, and receive around 700k views. That is when Kyle Vanderhoof was discovered. Finally, joined by Luis Botello, Marcus Herrera, and Matt Ingram, The Followthrough was whole again. With a brand new sound, a brand new resolve, the band has hit the studio, and is releasing new music in 2023.
