This funky psychedelic rock and jam band has been taking over the Texas music scene by force since their debut album, “Mime is Money” released last September. The band is made up of 5 SMU grads known for their widely acclaimed live shows that are filled with searing riffs, tight improvisations, and a whole lot of funky jams guaranteed to keep the audience dancin’ all night long. Drawing sonic comparisons to bands like Widespread Panic, Little Feat, and Neal Francis, this Texas-born jam band is making a serious name for themselves in the live music scene, with big plans on the horizon. Fresh off of a sold out gig for their first show in New York City, and most recently a sold out hometown show In Dallas, The Desk Jockeys have a full head of steam and are ready to continue giving electric performances to their fans new and old.
