Sherita Perez

Sherita Perez is a Gulf Coast Queen and conservationist with a party prerogative. She possesses a talent for creating memorable and educational songs that resonate deeply. Paying homage to the classic styles, Sherita sounds like heart felt Roots, Country and Folk music with a touch of Roger Miller and Hee Haw. Sherita recently performed at SXSW Official, Austin City Limits live Radio Broadcast at The Van Zandt Hotel in Austin, TX. Sherita has opened for Joan Osborn and James McMurtry. Sherita has supported shows for Ani DeFranco, The String Cheese Incident, and Taj Mahal. She performed at the 25th Annual Kate Wolf Music Festival at The Black Oak Ranch, CA, and played at The Golden Gate Band Shell in San Francisco, CA. She has been featured on BMI’s Singer-Songwriter Series at The Saxon Pub and the Texas Music Office’s Texas Music Mixtape KOOP Radio- Original Music Hour alongside Willie Nelson, Nora Jones & Shiny Ribs. Sherita recently played with her band on Texas Radio Live, Sun Radio broadcast at Guero’s in Austin Texas. Sherita received a scholarship from SWRFA 2022, and her song, “Pack It In, Pack It Out” will be featured in The National Parks Service PSA this year. Sherita was also recently included in Chill Country Sessions video series.
