After nearly a day, divine intervention stepped in prompting his family to discover him unresponsive and close to death. Although EMS was unable to revive him on the spot, once at the emergency room they were able to get a pulse. He spent 29 days in ICU, fourteen of which were on a ventilator. This event signified a shift in his perspective, and he began to produce with a greater purpose in mind. This shift not only defined his musical path, but also established the tone for his future efforts, which are directed by a vision that goes beyond the charts and into something more spiritual. A faithful Christian with roots as a Jehovah’s Witness, Jedidiah’s music is deeply influenced by his spirituality.
