Hallo (pronounced Hollow) is a cozy indie rock band that hails from the weird and hot-as-hell city of Austin, Texas. Their debut single, Cold Magic, is set to release February 24th.
Inspired by the disorientation caused by life, Hallo’s music is a tender exploration through the tough realities of getting older, losing friends, and constantly feeling disconnected, all while trying to observe the beauty in finding your own worth. Each song is an intimate look inside the highly sensitive and easily wounded heart set to the furious backdrop of drums, bass, and electric guitar.
Returning to Austin after living abroad for over two years in Amsterdam, Tiana Stuart embraced a more truthful, candid side to her songwriting. Armed with a handful of disposable and expired personal ‘ov-chipkaarten’ that she felt represented more than just her European travels, she wrote a seven song album about being disowned, used, and conscience-stricken. Set to release in 2023.
