Diego ate the Drummer started as a high school band in Austin, TX when Isabel (bassist) teamed up with Diego and Raúl (guitarists) to make music and perform lots of covers of the Strokes. After departing for college the band grew with Gabe (synth, drums), Vale (lead singer), Sruja (guitar), Kent (drums), and Sajiv (guitar). Our sound can be described as a blend of indie rock and electronic music with influences including the Hinds and forever, the Strokes.
