David Suarez is an indie pop artist based in Austin, Texas, originally from LaPlace, Louisiana. Music has been part of his life since he was five years old, singing in church before studying vocal performance at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA). Today, he writes, produces, records, mixes, and masters all of his own music.
Blending pop, R&B, and alternative with the nostalgic energy of the 2000s, David creates music built around big hooks, polished production, and honest storytelling. Inspired by artists like Jon Bellion, Jonas Brothers, COIN, and Frank Ocean, he’s developed a sound that feels both familiar and fresh.
Since releasing his debut EP BIG BOYS DO CRY! and his follow-up project Heartbreak Anonymous, David has continued to grow his audience through touring and live performances across the Gulf South. In 2025, he joined Letrainiump on tour, performing for new audiences across multiple cities. His music has also been featured on New Orleans’ legendary WWOZ, and he’s brought his live show to venues throughout New Orleans, Houston, Hattiesburg, and beyond.
Now, David is entering his next chapter with HOT!—his boldest project yet. Centered around confidence, self-expression, and letting go of who you used to be, HOT! captures the feeling of stepping into your best self while delivering the biggest, most fun songs of his career.
