Celestina Gravely

Celestina Gravely is a singer-songwriter born and raised in Austin, TX who plays alternative indie rock that weaves punk energy, emo vulnerability, and gothic psychedelia into atmospheric soundscapes inspired by artists such as Elliot Smith, Hole, and PJ Harvey. Their sound is eclectic with elements ranging from dreamy melodies to heavy breakdowns. Celestina has been a regular of the Kerrville Folk Festival for the past ten years and has been in various bands(including Most Modern and Mother Water House) developing their songwriting and performing skills with a uniquely dark and grungy quality, while incorporating lyrics that evoke a sense of edgey vulnerability. She teamed up with Justin Martinez on drums and Dean Hubbard on bass, creating a powerful trio. Their debut album is currently being produced and recorded by Matt Hubbard who is also playing keyboards on the album.
