Bruce Hughes, a lifelong musician and Austin, Texas native, has released six solo records including 2022’s LATE NIGHT POLAROIDS. He is the recipient of 31 Austin Music Awards, including Best Bass Guitar (twice) and as a member of bands Poi Dog Pondering, The Scabs, Ugly Americans, and Bob Schneider. Bruce has performance or production credit on countless released albums and has also performed with Grammy Award winners Jason Mraz and Dr. John. He is a member of Austin supergroup The Resentments, one of the town’s longest running residencies for over 20 years.
